History

The idea of International Rhythmic Gymnastics Charity Foundation was suggested by Mrs Irina A. Viner-Usmanova, the outstanding Russian rhythmic gymnastics coach and widely known sport manager.

Her suggestion was supported by Ms Evgenia Kanaeva, Olympic Champion in rhythmic gymnastics, and VAIMED Enterprises Ltd., which proposed its assistance in the promotion of rhythmic gymnastics on international level. The aforementioned persons agreed to become the founders of a new international charity organization.

Upon the initiative of the founders, I. A. Viner-Usmanova, E. Kanaeva and VAIMED Enterprises Ltd., the general meeting of the founders was held on 03 February 2012. The following decisions were taken: the creation of the Foundation, approval of the Statutes, formation of the Board of Guardians and Administration, election of the Executive Director and Auditor.

So, on 03 February 2012 the International Rhythmic Gymnastics Charity Foundation was created and it started its activities with the purpose of promotion and support of rhythmic gymnastics worldwide.
